In short
- Naukri has no setting that applies to jobs for you. You apply to each job yourself.
- "Naukri auto apply" tools are bots and browser extensions that sign in as you and press Apply in your account.
- They risk your account, your password and your standing with recruiters.
- The better route is to apply on the company's own career page, which is what Jobaaj One does for you.
What Naukri itself offers
On Naukri you apply job by job. From your recommended jobs you can select several and apply to them together, which is the closest Naukri comes to bulk applying. Every application still comes from you, on your account, when you choose it.
Much of what gets you calls on Naukri happens before you apply: recruiters search the candidate database by skills, title, notice period, salary and location, and contact the profiles that match. That is why your profile often matters more than how many jobs you apply to.
How Naukri auto apply bots work
Scripts
Often shared on GitHub. They open a browser, sign in with your Naukri e-mail and password, search your keywords and click Apply on each result.
Browser extensions
They do the same inside your own signed-in Naukri tab, sometimes pausing for you to type an OTP.
Both apply to whatever matches the search words. Neither reads the job the way a recruiter will, so many applications go to roles you were never going to be shortlisted for.
The risks
What a Naukri bot can cost you
- Your Naukri account. Naukri's terms restrict using the site in ways that impair how it works or copy its content without permission. Read them before you let a bot apply in bulk from your account.
- Your password. A script that signs in as you needs your login. Whoever has it has your profile, contact details and application history.
- Your standing with recruiters. Recruiters see who applied. Dozens of applications to roles you do not fit make your profile easier to skip when a good role comes up.
A better way to apply to more jobs
Many companies that post on Naukri also post the same role on their own career page, and read applications in their own hiring system (Workday, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse and others). That is where Jobaaj One applies for you.
- Upload your resume onceJobaaj One builds your profile from it and uses those answers on every form.
- Openings come from 2,711 company career pagesEach one is scored against your profile: 85 and above is sent as it is, 60 to 85 is sent with a tailored resume on Plus and Max, below 60 is skipped.
- It is submitted on the company's own formNo Naukri or LinkedIn login is used, and every application is kept with a screenshot.
Keep using Naukri alongside it
The Jobaaj One Chrome extension saves Naukri jobs to your tracker, so what you applied to on Naukri and what Jobaaj One applied to sit in one list.
More calls from Naukri itself
- Resume headline and key skills in the words recruiters search for: the job titles you want and the tools they ask for.
- Notice period, current and expected salary, location kept accurate. Recruiters filter on these before reading anything else.
- A current profile: update it when anything changes, and upload your latest resume.
- Apply early. Roles get most of their applicants in the first few days, and shortlists start then.
- Fewer, closer roles. Jobs that ask for more years or different skills rarely reply. See why applications go unanswered.
Questions
Does Naukri have an auto apply feature?
Not a switch that applies for you. You apply to each job yourself, one by one or several at a time from the recommended jobs list.
Are Naukri auto apply bots safe?
They log in as you and click Apply in your account. Naukri's terms restrict using the site in ways that impair it or extract its content without permission, so read them before handing a bot your login. Your account, your profile and your recruiter history are what is at risk.
Does Jobaaj One apply on Naukri?
No. Jobaaj One never uses your Naukri or LinkedIn login. It applies on the employer's own career page. Its Chrome extension can save Naukri jobs to your tracker and show how well they match you.
What is the alternative to a Naukri bot?
Apply where the company actually reads applications: its own career page. Many of the companies on Naukri post the same role there, often earlier. Jobaaj One watches those pages and applies for you.
